Experiences of the Paths
The project
The event is part of the I Sentieri del Miele e del Piccolo Frutto project which was created with the aim of creating cultural itineraries dedicated to children and adults along the Miralta di Moncrivello hill.
Knowledge and arguments
The topics covered will be:

Blueberry species (having different biotypes in the field)
Legends, tales and curiosities about the blueberry
Bilberry diseases
The beneficial properties
How the blueberry is harvested
The theoretical part will last about half an hour and will be used above all to have the right notions for the collection.
The theoretical part will be delivered in the field, under a gazebo, in the shade of trees.
Il Giardino delle Api
Un esempio virtuoso che recupera antiche pratiche di nutrimento delle api, considerando l'importanza attuale della loro conservazione.
Circondato dai campi di mirtilli biologici della Mirbì, il Giardino ospita oltre cento specie di erbe, arbusti e alberi melliferi.
Development of the experience
The times are a rough indication and may vary according to the questions of the students:

Autonomous harvesting of blueberries following the instructions received during the theoretical lesson.

Biodiversità e Sostenibilità
- Scuole medie e superiori, appassionati e famiglie sono invitati a scoprire la biodiversità e la sostenibilità, temi cruciali dell'agenda 2030.
- Attraverso attività interattive e un capannone sostenibile (fotovoltaico e pozzo irriguo indipendente), l'obiettivo è rendere l'apprendimento originale e divertente.
Esperienze Sensoriali
- I visitatori avranno l'opportunità di immergersi nei profumi delle piante, assaporare diversi
tipi di miele, comprendere come le api comunicano attraverso i profumi e conoscere le erbe
mellifere ed aromatiche utilizzate anche per la produzione di amari e vermouth.
Conclusioni
Il Giardino delle Api si presenta come un luogo educativo e coinvolgente, dove la storia, l'innovazione e la sostenibilità si fondono per promuovere la consapevolezza ambientale e il rispetto per la natura.
